Three slicks of rbsB gene, rbsB, rbsBI03, and rbsBIC6 from the wild type, the mutant and the revertant strain, respectively, were coned for overproduction of protehut under the control of lambda PL promoter. Fine different species of precursor and mature ribose.bhading proteins were parifled to homogeneity using DEAF,-Sepbadex column chromatography, osmotic shock pocedure, CMSephadex column chromatography, and Chromatofoashrg column chromsography. pl of the precursor proteins and mature proteins were determined and found to be pH $.0 and 7.5, respectively. The purified proteins were subjected to amino acid sequencing. The results confirmed the amino add changes deduced from the DNA sequencing.
